El Jimador, a tequila brand owned by Brown-Forman is using Thinfilm’s NFC tags to promote their Soccer Moments marketing campaign.
The tags will be added to the bottles using an additional printed bottle necker/cone with embedded tag. Additionally, tags will be added to connected coasters/drinks mats.
The idea is that consumers can tap the tags for a chance to win prizes. NFC tags have been used for smart drinks campaigns many times before but it’s understood that this would be the largest rollout for a tequila brand so far.
